This challenge will be the topic of a workshop organized in Aachen by AMO GmbH and RWTH Aachen University, on November 12-13, 2019.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.graphene.ac\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/pic-WaferScaleIntegration-3-932x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-627\" width=\"338\" height=\"371\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.graphene.ac\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/pic-WaferScaleIntegration-3-932x1024.jpg 932w, https:\/\/www.graphene.ac\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/pic-WaferScaleIntegration-3-273x300.jpg 273w, https:\/\/www.graphene.ac\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/pic-WaferScaleIntegration-3-768x844.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 338px) 100vw, 338px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In the past ten years, graphene and other two-dimensional (2D) have allowed prototyping devices with exceptional performances and potentially huge impact in electronics, photonics and sensor technology.&nbsp; The next big challenge is the wafer-scale integration of 2D materials, as success in real-world applications requires not only outstanding performance at the single-device level but also, large-scale fabrication processes.
