The fellows will have the\nopportunity to start their <strong>own\nscientific project<\/strong> in one of the research areas of RWTH. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rwth-aachen.de\/cms\/root\/Forschung\/Angebote-fuer-Forschende\/RWTH-Center-for-Young-Academics\/~esarc\/RWTH-Junior-Principal-Investigator-Fello\/lidx\/1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"151\" height=\"300\" src=\"http:\/\/www.graphene.ac\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/RWTH-JPI-Fellowship-151x300.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-777\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.graphene.ac\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/RWTH-JPI-Fellowship-151x300.png 151w, https:\/\/www.graphene.ac\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/RWTH-JPI-Fellowship.png 452w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 151px) 100vw, 151px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The fellowship will be awarded for a period of four\nyears, with an optional fifth year. The fellows will be employed\nas junior research group leaders (full position, pay grade TV-L 14), and have additional\nfunding for one full-time doctoral candidate and a research budget for\nconsumables. Laboratory and office space will be provided by a host institution\nor a Profile Area at RWTH. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eligible\ncandidates must have completed their doctoral degree within the last three\nyears, have a strong academic record, and have at least two years of research\nexperience outside of Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>deadline for applications is February 26, 2020<\/strong>.
