Using a simple language, the video explores the connection between a common pencil and a self-driving car. That connection is graphene &#8211; or better nanotechnology based on graphene, like the one developed by Lemme\u2019s group at AMO and RWTH.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>As Lemme\nexplains, many of the technologies that are shaping our world \u2013 artificial\nintelligence, the internet of things, autonomous driving \u2013 will soon require not\nonly new software, but also radically new hardware.
