The first guest will be Prof. Stephan Hofmann from the University of Cambridge, who will talk about the fundamental mechanisms that underpin CVD technology for atomically-thin 2D films.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. Hofmann&#8217;s research explores the&nbsp;crystal growth and possible integration strategies of nanomaterials such as graphene-related materials, carbon nanotubes, and semiconductor nanowires. His group develops and applies in-situ metrology techniques to probe the fundamental mechanisms that govern the growth and the functionalities of these materials, with the scope of unlocking their full technological potential. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. Hofmann&#8217;s seminar will be on <strong>May, 26th at 12:00 noon<\/strong> by Zoom.
